Mosquito Reduction

Rollins offers a dual approach to reducing mosquito populations. The goal of our program is to reduce the number of mosquitoes on your property that may carry diseases such as West Nile virus, encephalitis, dengue, malaria and canine heartworm.

Unfortunately, not all of the mosquitoes you encounter on your property originated there. This means an ongoing treatment program is your best option to help protect you and your family so you can continue to enjoy your outdoor activities.

How do our products reduce mosquito populations?

We will treat the landscaping and foundation around the property with a residual adulticide to help reduce the population of mosquitoes in their resting sites. When necessary, we will also treat mosquito-breeding sites on the property to help prevent mosquito larvae from developing into adults.

Will treatments totally eliminate the mosquitoes on my property?

While treatment is intended to help reduce the mosquito population on your property, our program will not totally eliminate mosquitoes as they can originate from a neighboring yard. Also, as new foliage grows on your property, this provides new resting places for mosquitoes. Thus, it is important to have ongoing treatments to manage mosquitoes.

Rollins Pest Control mosquitoes program is intended to help reduce the breeding and resting sites of mosquitoes around your property greatly reducing, but not eliminating, the opportunity of being bitten by mosquitoes.

Our program is a proactive approach rather than a reactive approach in the reduction of mosquitoes and their resting sites.
